Account and Billing
Credits and limits
Credits, purchases, subscriptions, and AI behaviour when the organization runs short.
Documentation sections
The organization needs credits for the platform’s AI features. A credit measures platform work; it is not money or a provider token. Each operation has a fixed price in the shared catalog.
How credits are charged
Before a new AI call, the platform checks the available balance. It charges the operation only after a usable result is saved. Provider errors, empty results and retries of the same logical operation do not create an extra charge.
Subscription quota is used first and expires at the end of its period. Purchased credits are used after it. The organization can see these sources separately where the credit account is available.
Promo codes and top-ups
A promo code adds a fixed number of credits to the organization. The source of a top-up does not change AI behaviour: once the balance is positive, waiting work resumes automatically.
An organization owner or admin can open billing at /{org}/billing. The page shows
subscription quota, purchased and total balance, operation history, credit packages,
the subscription, and promo code state. The same actions are available through the
REST API and its OpenAPI reference.
Paddle is the payment provider.
Purchasing credits
Three one-time packages are available:
| Package | Credits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| S | 800 | $10 |
| M | 2,500 | $25 |
| L | 12,000 | $100 |
The purchase opens a hosted Paddle checkout. Credits are not granted when the buyer returns from checkout; they appear only after the provider sends a verified notification. Reopening the checkout does not grant credits a second time.
Subscription
The subscription provides 1,000 quota credits per unit each month, with a minimum of 10 units. Subscription quota is used first and expires at the end of the paid period. Purchased credits do not expire.
Increasing units takes effect after the additional payment is confirmed and adds quota in proportion to the remaining period. Decreasing units takes effect from the next period; cancellation only stops future renewal.
A Paddle-approved refund or chargeback removes the corresponding purchased credits. The purchased balance may become negative, so new AI operations wait for the balance to be restored.
When credits are insufficient
A new AI operation does not start when its price is greater than the total balance. Work that has already started continues to its saved checkpoint, and the participant’s primary answer is still saved. If a follow-up question cannot start, the participant continues without it.
Background analysis and reports wait in their saved state and resume automatically after the balance becomes positive. The owner and organization admins receive one email for each shortage period.
The participant receives a separate email when their personal result is ready. The organization and team results email is sent only after the measurement is explicitly closed and the final report is ready. Small groups do not receive a block that cannot be shown safely.
